ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE APPLICATION

PLAY STRUCTURES

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) meets on the first Monday of every month at 5:30 PM via Zoom. To ensure your project is included in the upcoming agenda, applications must be submitted no later than close of business on the Thursday immediately preceding the meeting. Submissions must include the completed form and all required supporting documents. Applications received after this deadline will be deferred to the subsequent ARC meeting.

Structure Dimensions

Maximum permitted height is 10 feet (grade to highest point). Play platforms may not exceed 5 feet above ground level.

Materials & Appearance

Play structures must be commercially manufactured or pre-engineered systems. Equivalent custom-built or site-fabricated structures must be expressly approved by the ARC.

Primary colors/finish are required.

If custom built, describe the design, whether it is based on a published plan, and any additional pertinent details.

Location & Screening

Play structures must be located in the rear yard only. Structures visible from the street must be substantially screened. Tree houses must also be screened from adjoining lots.

Include setbacks from property lines, fencing, and easements.
